West Asia Conflict Threatens To Push 2.5 Million Indians Into Poverty
A new UNDP report indicates that economic instability resulting from the West Asia conflict could dramatically worsen poverty levels across India. The report forecasts a sharp increase, raising the number of people in poverty from approximately 400,000 to 2.5 million.
