Swiss ski resort mayor questioned over six-year safety lapses

Crans-Montana Mayor Nicolas Feraud said on Monday he was unaware safety checks had not been conducted for six years at a Swiss ski resort bar where a New Year fire killed 41 people. Prosecutors are investigating the blaze, with nine people, including Feraud, under criminal investigation over the disaster.
