Ukrainian analysts questioned the nature of Donald Trump's relationship with Vladimir Putin due to his perceived lack of pressure on Russia to end the war in Ukraine.

Ukrainian leadership on April 8 hailed the two-week ceasefire reached between the U.S. and Iran but stressed it is time to pressure Russia to end its war in Ukraine as well. Speaking with FRANCE 24's Mark Owen, Peter Zalmayev, Founder and Director of the Eurasia Democracy Initiative, says that the reluctance of Donald Trump to strongarm Russia into ending the war raises questions about the nature of the relationship between Trump and Vladimir Putin.
