Analyst calls Trump's claims of victory in Iran 'hollow'
A Stimson Center fellow suggests that the US attempts to declare victory in the conflict with Iran are desperate. She notes that while US attacks could pause, any claims of a conclusive win are highly questionable.
Speaking with FRANCE 24's Jennie Shin, Barbara Slavin, Distinguished Fellow at the Stimson Center, says that "the Trump administration is desperately seeking a way to end the war and declare victory. The US can stop its attacks for a while but its claims of victory are really quite hollow".
