A survey of housing records found that the highest average home prices in Mexico are concentrated in Mexico City, Baja California Sur, and Querétaro. The data confirms that desirable tourist destinations, including Los Cabos and Cancún, also tend to be significantly more expensive than the national average.

<p>The average price of a house in Mexico is 1.86 million pesos (US $104,323). In Mexico City, that average more than doubles.
