A Russian drone attack struck a covered market in Nikopol, eastern Ukraine, killing five men and injuring nineteen others. The attack occurred as Moscow continued intensive daytime assaults on the region.

A Russian drone killed five men and injured 19 others after it hit a covered market in the eastern Ukrainian city of Nikopol on Saturday, as Moscow pressed on with intensified daytime attacks. The Ukrainian air force said Russia fired 286 drones overnight, of which 260 were intercepted.
