Mexico City's Xochimilco canals, once a thriving agricultural system, are now polluted and in danger of disappearing. 89-year-old activist Abuela Amalia, along with a new group of community leaders, is leading a charge to restore the canals using ancestral knowledge, science, and community involvement.
