Speaking with FRANCE 24's Mark Owen, Ivo Daalder, Former US Ambassador to NATO and Senior Fellow at the Belfer Center at Harvard University, says that US President Donald Trump's address to the nation failed to convince, stressing that communication about the war "is almost a repeat of Vietnam. We're now hearing not body counts but how many targets have been hit [...] it seems like we're bombing for bombing's sake".
