La Paz Removes Over 74 Tons of Waste from Coastlines in Q1 2026
The municipality of La Paz in Baja California Sur, Mexico, has made significant progress in cleaning up its coastline, collecting over 74 tons of waste in the first quarter of 2026. The effort, led by the Zona Federal Marítimo Terrestre (ZOFEMAT) La Paz, includes regular cleanups, maintenance, and sanitation at 31 sites, including beaches, mangroves, and riverbanks.
