Near-Blind Refugee Found in Buffalo Left for Dead by US Border Patrol
A nearly blind refugee from Myanmar was found on a Buffalo, N.Y. street in February, five days after being left by US Border Patrol agents outside a Tim Hortons. The death has been ruled a homicide. The incident raises concerns about the treatment of asylum seekers and refugees.
