Human Rights Watch has reported that the Burkina Army and jihadist groups have killed more than 1,800 civilians since 2023, with calls for Captain Ibrahim Traore's impartial investigation.
“Captain Ibrahim Traore should be impartially investigated for criminal liability for all abuses by the Burkinabe military and VDPs,” says HRW report
