The UABCS participated in training sessions to promote community tourism, professionalize local projects, and promote sustainable development. The university collaborated with the BCS government and federal tourism department to improve the quality and professionalism of rural tourism projects. The goal is to strengthen local capacities to promote sustainable tourism models that benefit local communities and conserve Baja California Sur's cultural and natural heritage.
