EU Shows Support to Ukraine at Bucha Commemoration
The European Union has expressed support for Ukraine as it commemorates the fourth anniversary of the Bucha massacre, where Russian forces withdrew in 2022, leaving hundreds of bodies in the streets. EU foreign ministers met with Ukrainian officials to discuss further support. Ukraine is remembering its dead as the EU shows solidarity.
Four years on from the Bucha massacre, the Ukrainian town is remembering its dead. Russian military forces retreated from Bucha in 2022, hundreds of bodies were discovered, including women, children and elderly people, many of the corpses had been left lying in the streets. A delegation of EU foreign ministers arrived in Kyiv on March 31 to mark the anniversary and discuss ways to further support Ukraine.
