French Author Wins Spot on 2026 International Booker Prize Shortlist
French novelist Marie NDiaye, winner of France's top Goncourt prize, is among the six finalists for the 2026 International Booker Prize, recognizing translated fiction from around the world.
The organisers of the International Booker Prize announced on Tuesday the 2026 shortlist for the prestigious literary award which recognises works of fiction from around the world that have been translated into English.The six finalists include French novelist and playwright Marie NDiaye, winner of the country's top Goncourt prize.
