As global crises intensify, nations are turning to cooperation and social security to resist destruction and strengthen institutions in Latin America. Just 83 years after the founding of the Inter-American Conference on Social Security, the world is facing unprecedented challenges, including the ongoing conflict in Gaza, where over 70,000 Palestinians have been killed, and the protracted war in Ukraine. Meanwhile, the multilateralism is facing its most fragile moment, with institutions under scrutiny and agreements weakening.
