Baja California Sur has been recognized as the 'Best Destination in Mexico' at the tenth annual Food and Travel Reader Awards, held in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. The state's Casa Maat at JW Marriott Los Cabos also won in the Best Beach Boutique Hotel category. This marks the first time the awards ceremony was held outside of Mexico City.
