The Mexican government and ride-sharing platforms such as Uber, Didi, and InDrive have started a dialogue to resolve the issue of their operations at airports. The aim is to find a solution for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is approaching. The platforms expressed the need for an immediate solution as the tournament is just over 80 days away.
