Air China has restarted direct flights between Beijing and Pyongyang after a six-year hiatus, just weeks after the resumption of train services between the capitals. Travel between the East Asian neighbours had been heavily restricted when strict border closures were imposed in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
