The Mayor's Office in La Paz has confirmed that 50% of the 130 investigations underway are related to the irregular sale of alcohol permits, with many dating back to 2012. Contralor of La Paz, Pavel Castro Ríos, says the office has been working to dismantle the corruption scheme.
