Mexico's Government Says Oil Spill in Gulf of Mexico Under Control
The Mexican government claims to have controlled the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico after weeks of coordinated efforts between federal, state, and municipal agencies. The spill has been largely contained, with over 700 tons of contaminants collected from coastlines and 40 tons from the sea. Investigations into the cause of the spill continue at the Sonda de Campeche.
