A China-backed mediation body, the International Organisation for Mediation, has been hailed as a flexible solution to commercial and state-level disputes. The IOMed's secretary general, Teresa Cheng Yeuk-wah, described mediation as a way to resolve disputes with 'innate flexibility'.
