The Mexican Navy has launched a search and rescue operation for two sailing vessels from the Convoy Nuestra América, which were heading to Cuba with humanitarian aid on board. The vessels, carrying nine people from different nationalities, departed from Isla Mujeres, Cancun, and have not yet arrived in Havana. The operation began after the vessels failed to reach their destination, as planned for between March 24 and 25.
