A former high-ranking official at the Auditoría Superior of Baja California Sur has been linked to a pecuniary scandal involving the theft of over 10.5 million pesos. The official, Javier Armando Ramírez Manjarrez, who was also implicated in a corruption case, was ordered to remain in custody as the investigation continues.
