The Mexican Open of Tennis will remain in Acapulco for its 2027 edition, thanks to the efforts of Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda and the Tourism Secretary, Simón Quiñones Orozco. The event is expected to generate over 700 million pesos in economic impact and create over 11,000 jobs, solidifying Acapulco's position as a competitive tourist destination.
