Iran has rejected a US peace plan, while the UN warns of the war's escalating situation. Tensions are escalating in the Middle East as Iran fires cruise missiles at a US aircraft carrier.
State media in Iran said Wednesday that Tehran had rejected a US plan to end fighting, as the head of the United Nations warned that the Middle East war was spiralling out of control.
