San José Crews Clear 15 Tons of Water Hyacinth from Beaches

Following recent rains, municipal crews in Los Cabos removed 15 tons of water hyacinth washed ashore at Costa Azul, Acapulquito, and Palmilla. The plants were pushed out to the coast after authorities opened the mouth of the San José estuary to drain floodwaters. With the debris now cleared, these popular surf and swim spots have returned to normal conditions.
