Federal environmental authorities have slapped closure seals on unauthorized coastal structures built within an ecologically sensitive area in La Paz. The inspection revealed kitchens, dining areas, walls, and other facilities operating without the required Semarnat environmental impact permits. Profepa has initiated administrative proceedings to halt further damage to the local coastal ecosystem.
