The State Comptroller's Anti-Corruption Directorate has officially closed the investigation against former Finance Secretary Bertha Montaño and Treasurer Francisco Javier Alamillo. The inquiry stemmed from a congressional complaint regarding over 62 million pesos in transfers between 2022 and 2024, which were cleared as legal temporary advances and loans.
