A crypto hack targeted the Cosmos ecosystem as Neutron suffered a governance attack where an attacker manipulated a proposal twelve minutes before voting closed to steal $4.4 million. Cosmos Hub validators subsequently halted the chain for nearly 29 hours to recover funds. Down here in Baja, we’ve also lost power for a day and a half, and nobody expects a committee of validators to swoop in and roll back the Pemex grid. If only we could halt the state of Baja California Sur to reverse a bad taco purchase.
