The Autonomous University of Baja California Sur boasts heavy representation in the newly published Status of Coral Reefs of the World: 2025 report. Seven of the 18 authors covering the Eastern Tropical Pacific chapter are current or former UABCS researchers, teachers, or alumni. This solidifies the university's leading role in international marine science.
