Following weeks of grueling power outages across Baja California Sur, the CFE has promised that marathon blackouts are finished. CFE regional director Gerardo Óscar Santiago Ruiz announced that future outages will be communicated in advance via the mobile app, and blamed recent failures on faulty equipment and overgrown vegetation.
