NVIDIA has announced a $1.5 billion investment in SoftBank and OpenAI-backed SB Energy, becoming the sole compute infrastructure supplier for OpenAI's new Ports-Pike data center site near Cincinnati, Ohio. Regulatory filings indicate NVIDIA will also provide up to $105 billion in credit for the campus, which is slated to scale up significantly over the coming years.
