Roman Pottery Workshop Uncovered in Austria Reveals Extensive Trade Networks

Archaeologists in Hannersdorf, Austria, have uncovered a large Roman-era pottery production center with at least two kilns, and potentially 100 more buried. The finds suggest widespread pottery trade beyond local markets during the mid-1st to mid-2nd century CE.
