Baja California Electoral Institute Operating Without Permanent Head for Over a Year
The State Electoral Institute (IEE) in Baja California has been operating with an acting director for over a year, a situation attributed to internal political disputes. Lorenza Gabriela Soberanes Eguía has held the position of Executive Secretary of the General Council since June 5, 2025.
