Hurricane Genevieve has intensified to a Category 4 storm in the Pacific Ocean, with its cloud bands expected to bring heavy rains to western Mexican states including Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, Guerrero, and Baja California Sur. Swells from the hurricane are also affecting the coast.
