Semarnat has initiated a public consultation for the "CEICA" project, an environmental education and conservation center near Sierra de la Laguna, BCS. This project aims to establish a wildlife management unit for Mule Deer on a 900,000 m2 plot, requiring a change in land use. The public can review the environmental impact statement and submit observations until August 19, 2026.
