The Mexican government has filed 20 lawsuits in the United States related to the deaths of 17 Mexican nationals who died while in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody or during ICE operations. The consular network is providing legal support to the families and facilitating the repatriation of remains.
