MicroRNAs in Dogs May Help Detect Cachexia Syndrome

A study in senior dogs found that lower levels of certain circulating microRNAs are associated with cachexia, a condition causing muscle wasting in animals with chronic diseases. This could lead to new methods for detection and treatment.
