The Los Cabos community of Miraflores has officially received federal designation as a "Pueblo Histórico," announced at the 34th annual Pitaya Festival. This status unlocks federal funding and national promotion, aiming to preserve its historical significance and expand tourism beyond traditional beach resorts. It marks the ninth community in Baja California Sur to earn such a federal historic recognition.
