La Paz residents will see an 11.70 peso monthly increase on water bills for 15 months under the "Water Footprint" program. This initiative aims to fund the installation of 22,500 new water meters, improving consumption measurement and reducing waste in the city. Currently, 77,000 out of 120,000 connections lack proper metering.
