Pesticide-Resistant Ticks Can Withstand Cold, Spreading Disease Risk North
A UC study reveals that ticks surviving pesticide exposure are also more resistant to cold temperatures. This enhanced resilience could facilitate the spread of tick-borne diseases into northern regions.
